hey, thanks for reading! to be completely honest, that should have been phrased better. i was mainly referring to the fact that these metrics are not just readily available to the wider public. of course, the means to get them were there for a long time, but data extraction/cleaning is still a tough process to go through, so now that i've got my database, we can reap the rewards of being creative with the metrics applied to that data.

I was wondering about HS% a while back, and came to the conclusion that head hits/total hits is a better metric.
i didn't think damageHS% would be better because smg headshots and awp headshots might contaminate the dataset, but your method seems reasonable.
